This district, which was a subdistrict of our Malatya city until 1954, became a village of Kahta district in 1954, when Adıyaman city became a province. We should also point out at this point that Kahta district is one of the districts of Adıyaman city. In 1990, Sincik gained the right to become a district and became one of the districts of Adıyaman province.

Although Sincik is not a region rich in places to visit, it has places worth seeing. Before mentioning the prominent places to visit in this district, let's talk about how to get around. First of all, if you plan to come with your private vehicle, you can choose to use the navigation system. You can determine the route through this system and go on a comfortable journey. Travelers who do not plan to come with a private vehicle or do not have a private vehicle can consider the intercity bus option. You are lucky that there is already a bus station in the district. Another transportation method you can choose to reach the district is by air. This transportation alternative is very convenient, especially for those who will come to Adıyaman from very distant areas.
