Kaçkar Mountains National Park is located approximately 16 kilometers from the Çamlıhemşin district of the city. We recommend that you do not leave without seeing this park while you are in the city.

This region, consisting of Hunut, Kaçkar and Verçenik mountains, covers an area extending to the cities of Artvin and Erzurum. The park, which has an average altitude of 3992 meters, stands out with its lush nature. The region, which gained the title of national park in 1994, is home to many plateaus and glacial lakes.

You can go on a nature walk to explore the surroundings, camp with a tent, do activities such as mountaineering and have a pleasant holiday experience in the park, which is among the frequent destinations of local and foreign tourists.

Historical Rize Bazaar
